Russia-Ukraine war: Putin confirmed that over 700.000 soldiers are at the battlefield in war with Ukraine.
As the Russian Ukraine invasion is in its third year, the more war changed position, the more Russia increases the number of soldiers.
Before parliament on , September 18 2025, H.E president Vladimir Putin has said that at least seven hundred thousands (700,000) of Russian soldiers have been sent to the battlefield in war against Ukraine , he said that, the soldiers who will then reach their retirement period, there will be the way they will be trained for working other governmental works as the public servants.
He said:” More than our 700,000 soldiers are at battlefield, so then ,we have to select some from them, who have will to work as public servants.”
The number of Russian soldiers in Ukraine war had increased from the last year 2024, where the Russian government said that they have 600,000 soldiers in Ukraine war.
As the numbers show that, normally Russia has 2.4 million soldiers including 1.5 million act as permanent soldiers.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian president, Volodymil Zelensky announced that the Ukrainian soldiers fighting with Russia reach 900,000 soldiers.
President Putin announced that number of 700,000 Russian soldiers, as there are the unconfirmed news that accuses Russia to have received other soldiers from North Korea , a Russia’s friend country.
Furthermore, the Russia’s increased number of soldiers in Ukraine invasion, signifies the Ukraine’ soldiers to defend their country, as the Russia in the early days of the war, they sent only 190,000 soldiers in February 2022, thinking it will be easy thing to conquer whole Ukraine.
