Uganda ,Breaking news: The PPP , People’s Progressive Part has announced their withdrawal from 2026 elections.
The Part’s Secretary General, Sadam Gayira told the reporters that, the reasons for their withdrawal from 2026 election is due to lack of finance to make the countrywide campaigns, and that they have low number of supporters countrywide.
The Party’s Secretary General, said that only , the party will put in their efforts in parliament and in local council elections.
What does it mean to see a party withdraws from elections before five months for elections to take place?
This is another sign that , though different opposition parties and politicians are always quick to say that they need a change in Uganda, to reach the office will not be easy for them in the time , they have no capacity to even fund their campaigns. It is the weakness for them all opposition, this also make the voters , Ugandans to lose hope for them too . So , it is clear that , the ruling party of Museveni has more chances than others to get win form 2026 elections, for , if the PPP , People’s Progressive Party can withdraw, due to lack of finance to run their campaigns, no one can know whether it is not a general challenge for all opposition parties , and private politicians.
END.
