Rwanda and Brundi, breaking news: Burundi has arrested a Rwandan soldier.
The FNDB, Forces de Defense Nationale de Burundi, in announcement they published on this Wednesday September 24,2025, they confirmed that during the night of September 23, the Burundi’s police forces caught and arrest the Rwandan soldier who intruded the Burundi’s lands.
The arrested Rwandan soldier , identified as Sergeant Emmanuel Sadick, it is said that he normally works as a driver, and that he was coming from some pub near the border, and unfortunately he lost his way and found himself at the Burundi’s lands.
The scene took place in Burundi’s province Butanyerera, and the arrested Rwandan is at the Kirundo police station in Burundi.
