Rwanda, Breaking news: The RDF, Rwanda Defence Forces, has confirmed the arrest news of their soldier who unintentionally intruded Burundi’s lands.
It was been being speculated, however for the countries have been and are still running very cold diplomacy, where the borders too are closed by Burundi side.
So people had not accepted the news as true, for they think , one country between the two, can raise a speculation like that they have caught any soldier from other side to provoke other or to give testimonies, especially these days where the president of Burundi, HE Evariste Ndayishimiye had confirmed that Rwanda has a long plan to attack Burundi, so the news like that is not to be directly trusted by the listeners, however as now, the RDF, Rwanda Defence Forces has confirmed too the news .
In the announcement, the RDF published on their x account on late evening of September 24, 2025, they said that they too had received the news of their soldier named , Sergeant Emmanuel Sadick who normally is the driver with RDF,they said that he inadvertently strayed the Gasenyi-Nemba border, into Burundi, and was caught and arrested by Burundi’s police.The RDF promised to follow diplomatic procedure to bring back the soldier.
