NGOMA–SAKE: Tax collector found dead in pit latrine with woman lying on top of him
A man who worked as a local tax collector in Sake Sector, Ngoma District, was found dead in a pit that used to serve as a latrine, in circumstances that have shocked local residents.
According to information obtained by BTNtv, the man is believed to have died while engaging in sexual activity with a woman, as authorities found her lying on top of his body at the scene.
The incident occurred on the night of December 26, 2025, in Nkanga Cell, Sake Sector. Residents were alarmed when they discovered the man’s body inside the pit, prompting immediate attention from local leaders and security organs.
The deceased was 50 years old and was well known in the area for his role in collecting taxes for the sector. The woman found at the scene is 29 years old. Further reports indicate that the man was married and had children.
