Breaking news.: Meteo Rwanda announced the heavy rainfall in this October, the rail will above normal averagel evel of October.
The news included in the RMA , the Rwanda Meteorology Agency report about the weather forecasting of this October 2025.
Meteo Rwanda said that in Rwanda, the weather forecasting shows that in this October 2025 , there expected the rain with average of millimeters between 100 and 300.
The expected rainfall is above the normal average level of rain that usually falls in October. However, that rain will be heavy in the first and third phases of October , while in the second phase it will not be too heavy,and will be lowered down to normal average level of October rain.
The Meteo Rwanda said that rainfall between 250 and 300 millimeters is expected in the Western Province, except in the Bugarama valley; in the Northern Province, except in the southern parts of Gicumbi, Rulindo, and Gakenke districts. This rainfall is also expected in the northern part of Muhanga District and in the western parts of Nyamagabe and Nyaruguru districts.
“It says: In Southern parts of Amayaga region,in Bugesera and Rwamagana districts, in the eastern part of the City of Kigali and the eastern part of Gatsibo District, in Kayonza District except its southern part, in the western part of Ngoma District, and in the southeastern part of Nyagatare District, rainfall will range between 150 and 200 millimeters.
Meteo Rwanda’s data show that in October, the maximum daytime temperature is expected to range between 18 and 30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum nighttime temperature is expected to range between 8 and 18 degrees Celsius.”
