Breaking news, Rayons Sport FC supporters were held by Tanzania’s police forces.
ON September 26 2025, it is when the Rwandan football team , Rayons Sport FC went in Tanzania to play the second game against the Tanzanian club , Singida Black Stars . Rayons Sport, as it is likely to be nicknamed the People’s team, its supporters were more to go in Tanzania, for they had hope of their team can eliminate Singida Black Star , as the first match ended in the winning of Singida Black Stars 0-1, so at Saturday, Rayons Sport FC and its supporters hoped they would do it and eliminate Singida B.S , to enter the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup, the way that would lead them into the group stage.
Unfortunately, what the Rwandan football team Rayon Sports FC and its supporters were thinking, the destiny didn’t favor them, for again they got defeated by Singida Black Stars 2-1 and when both matches considered, it become the win of 3-1, to mark the loose at home and away for Rayon Sports also marked the teams dream to re-enter the long wished CAF Confederation group stages for the team were there in 2018, a team that always go to play while they swore to get the win , it how their dream waned
After the match of Saturday in Tanzania, the supporters of Rayons Sport FC had to return back to Kigali, and that how they came to get back, but in the way back to Kigali, they were stopped by the Tanzanian police forces , the cause of that stopping is the overload of the bus.
As we got source from Isimbi journal, it is said that Rayons Sports supporters were asked to pay the 500,000 Tanzanian Shillings as amendment. However, it said that too , Rayon Sports supporters were amended the same amount in the way into Tanzania.
