CHRISTIANITY: Do you do wonder , why you can pray God , but still your prayers never be answered. Come and learn these five(5) things that may cause it.
Every Christian who really knows God , prays with ambitions of asking God to keeping helping them going in the right way, the true Christians never pray God because they have wishes try want to be answered. However, there are other people who only want to pray God whenever they have wishes they want them to be answered.
1. Unconfessed sin and disobedience
Sin creates a barrier between God and people. When we live in sin but still expect blessings, we block His response. “If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.” Psalm 66:18
Many pray for success while engaging in corruption, lying, or adultery. God first calls for repentance before answering prayers.
2. Wrong motives
God examines the heart behind every prayer. If our motives are selfish or harmful, He refuses to answer.
“When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” James 4:3
Look at yourself and people around you, today ,people pray for money, fame, or revenge, not for God’s glory but for personal gain. God responds to pure intentions, not greed.
3. Lack of faith or patience
Don’t think , you ask today ,and tomorrow you are answered, God need to firstly teach you some other lessons or test your patience.
Faith moves God, but doubt and impatience close the door to blessings.
“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”James 1:6-7
Today, many christians expect instant miracles and give up when answers delay. God’s silence often tests our faith and timing, not His love.
4. Broken relationships and unforgiveness
God values peace and forgiveness. Holding grudges blocks prayer.
“And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” Mark 11:25
Nowadays, families and churches are full of division and bitterness. Yet people pray for blessings while refusing to reconcile ,God listens to hearts that forgive.
5. Praying outside God’s will
Not everything we want aligns with God’s purpose. He answers what fits His plan for our good. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” 1 John 5:14
So many people pray for jobs, partners, or wealth that might destroy their faith. God’s “no” is sometimes His protection, not rejection.
Final word
God always hears, but He doesn’t always say “yes.” Sometimes He says “wait,” or “not now.” Prayer works when it comes from a clean heart, sincere faith, and a life aligned with His will.
END.
