Muhanga , Southern province: Police forces are searching for a young man who violated a 17 years-old girl during 24 hours in locked house.
The CIP Kamanzi Hassan , a spokesperson of police forces in southern province has announced that the young man who comes from Muhanga district, and the suspect to violate young girl of 17 years-old is now being searched, for the complaint has been already lodged.
The sources says that , the suspect young man who is from Kibangu sector locked that young girl inside the house on September 27.2025 at the 10h:00 am hours ,and let her out the next day, at the same hours she locked her .
In conversation with TV1, CIP Hassan Kamanzi said that, the suspect man is being searched by the security forces , and that the complaint has been already lodged to the respective institutions in Muhanga district.
He said “The child’s mother has lodged the complaint at the hours of 16h:00 pm, and too the searching for the suspect has began.”
The child’s family has said that , they had missed their child on the evening of the day , September 27.2025, and when they asked her where did she was, she said that , that young man did lock her ,and too violate her .
The victim young girl explained that , she had gone there to visit the suspect’s sister but she missed her, and it when the young man profited to lock up her.
She added that,she waited for other family members to get back but didn’t come.
She said:” That young man locked up with padlock, and I waited until the night comes,and no other family member who did come, that is when he defiled me.” The victim young girl said.
It is known that , after the family of victim young girl received the news that their daughter was violated, the firstly take her to Nyabikenke hospital for consultation , and provision of anti- pregnancy and STDs stopper drugs .
