Mukono,Uganda: A young man of 25 arrested for killing an old woman of 90.
The incident took place in Magonga VillageKiwafu Parish, Kimenyedde Sub-county, in Mukono district, on September 20 2025 at the 9h:00am hours, where the suspect identified as Henry Onyango was seen leaving the deceased’s house shortly before relatives discovered her lying in a pool of blood with deep head wounds.The murdered victim was identified as Negesa Christine.
The detection led by police recovered that a panga suspected to have been used in the crime and a shoe believed to belong to the suspect, which he reportedly dropped while fleeing. Onyango further led police to a nearby well where he admitted washing the weapon after the attack. However ,the reason that caused a young man to murder very old woman is unclear, and the Kampala’s Metropolitan police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango had confirmed the case.
The general , message given to people is to seek mediation, whenever they encounter conflicts and misunderstandings rather than seeking revenge , or self punishing.
