Sad news, three university staff were reported dead in accident.
On this Sunday 28 September 2025 , in Uganda,West Nile ,Pakwach district it is where the accident took place, the Muni university staff in Toyota pickup double cabin,were returning from the capital Kampala to. Arua when they made a deadly accident. The leading administration of Muni university in Uganda, has confirmed the death of their three staff in accident caused by the collision of their car and chines truck of railway builders company.
The deceased include Rev Canon Patrick Acerna who was the leader of the university church,Opio Washington the main lecturer of sports in university, and the driver , Kennedy Acidiri. However, the two others were severely injured.
Prof. Simon Anguma Katirini, the Muni university chancellor, had send condolences to the remaining families of deceased ones.
“Representing the university, leaders, staff ,students, and with myself, we announced our grieveness for the death of our three staff. You shall be informed about the funeral customs.” The university chancellor said.
SP Anguyo Jimmy Bayiga, the police spokesperson in West Nile had too confirmed the news, and announced that the investigation is to follow.
